Community Development Program

Bynoe has been delivering employment support services to communities in the Lower Gulf since the 1980s. 

Nursery

The Bynoe Nursery, located in Normanton propagates and stocks a range of affordable plants.

Youth Program

Our programs are tailored to the young people of the town.  We develop and deliver programs that are of interest to local kids and families.

Housing

Bynoe provides a central location for the community to access we are located at 46 Dutton Street Normanton.

Art Gallery

Bynoe Arts Centre comprises of an Art Gallery and Workshop, employing a number of local Indigenous artists

Cafe and Catering Services

Bynoe Café and Catering is one of our newer businesses.

Salvation Army Normanton

Providing low priced household goods and furniture and outreach services.

Neighbourhood Centre

Bynoe provides a central location for the community to access we are located at 46 Dutton Street Normanton.

RSAS

Bynoe has been delivering the RSAS program to Normanton since 2014.

about Bynoe CACS

Bynoe CACS was established to provide affordable housing to local Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people. We were incorporated on the 29th October 1979 with the Founding Directors being: Adam Billy, Daisy Burnett, Doris Casey, Sylvia Charger, Laura Geordie, Shirley George, Rolly Gilbert, Eddie Miles, Una Owens and Elza Savo.

Bynoe CACS continues to provide quality housing as well as delivering several other community-orientated services.
